I thought this bit was worth noting in that John and George were so similar in appearance and build. Knowing the way John feels about Jamie and Stephan, I would have thought he would mostly be attracted to big, self assured, strong willed men like them. We don't know what Hector had been like, but we do know Percy and now George weren't especially big or imposing and neither seems terribly self assured either. -- LJG Discussion board

- You very well could be right! If John could wear Hector's ring, he must have been on the small side too. I never really looked at size in a man till I fell in love with Jamie myself.
