Subject: I know that everyone is different. I would never force and excerpt on anyone, but as much as we enjoy re-reading and speculating, I would think excerpts are made for us. I think it is GREAT fun wondering how the excerpt will fit into the new story and where it might lead. I especially love it when I do finally get the new book, seeing if the excerpts I have watched develop are used, if they are used in their entirety, and if they weren't how they were changed. Best of all I like to see if I correctly anticipated the turns they would take in the story. I am absolutely addicted to excerpts . I have read every single one I could get my hands on since FC. I especially love that in addition to the excepts herself often gives us insights into what she is thinking as she writes these scenes and develops them from tiny kernels into great giant hunks like this particular one.
