Subject: Thank you for your kind words! I was planning to end this week with something completely different, but this moment was nagging at me for inclusion. It is so simple, yet so powerful. That's Herself for you. I was listening to one of the writing craft podcasts the other day, where she mentions something to the effect of using the least complex language wherever possible to express something in writing. Even though the books are detailed and long (and thank god for that), she creates her world with a great economy of language. She is simply amazing.
