Subject: Exactly - how ironic that he had been counting upon the uncooperative doorknob to allow him privacy but it worked perfectly. How easy it would have been for Tom to have walked in on he and Percy. So not only is he betrayed but he's also just been spared the same fate by chance. Quite unnerving!
