Subject: I went and had a look, out of curiosity. The Romance Reader and several other sites with "romance" in their names seem to review all kinds of books, not just romances.
In reply to: sharon fisher 's message, "Amazon has her under romance, and the 'romance' label is kind of like the scarlet letter; once you have it, everything you write is labelled a romance. Incidentally, Lord John novels have been reviewed by The Romance Reader and The Road to Romance. I'm not trying to make a case that they *should* be considered romance -- I'm one of those label-hating people; you know what we're like -- but I think it's safe to say that at least some people do consider them such." on 13:31:14 11/18/07 Sun
