Subject: I was under the impression that in his youth, following Hector's death, John was a regular at Lavender House. You know, he didn't care about life any more and threw caution to the wind, got involved in some scandal and was shipped off?
In reply to: Jane 's message, "God no, John didn't make a habit of visiting Lavender House. The first time he went to Lavender House it was with that horrible George Everett (some scandal connected with him got John shipped off to Ardsmuir) The next time he went there it was in the investigation of "the private matter" and it could have been said he was there on official business. Of course, it was on this "official" visit that he first met Percy" on 06:34:08 10/17/07 Wed
