Subject: I will second that! I think sometimes we become so involved in the lives of these characters that they become almost "ours", or we feel possessive. We want our questions answered, because these people feel like they are ours. But really, they are Diana's. I have tried in the past, when something happens in a book that upsets me, to remember, its not my world- I'll just let the genius to the work, and enjoy the ride! Oh and P.S.- If any of my comments have seemed like criticism, it was not intended that way at all, my apologies!

  • Well said. I really have never been angry at a character's actions or a storyline, because that is the way it happened, because Diana wrote it that way. Just like real life, things are messy, accidental, and illogical. To me, that is the beauty of these characters and books - they occur as naturally as if this were a memoir or biography. Can you tell I love DG's writing?? (NT) -- LissC, 18:29:23 09/10/07 Mon
