Subject: Wasn't it amazing how quickly John caught on? I loved it when he asked to see the little earl to check him for signs of Jamie. I think it was very honorable that John didn't let on to Jamie that he knew till the very last. A less honorable man would have used his knowledge to blackmail Jamie (who would have done anything to protect his son).
In reply to: Robin 's message, "I love these books - and the brilliance of Diana's writing. I loved it when Jamie said he had been Geneva's groom - the double entendre of that is absolutely perfect - and explains a good deal of his guilt and being in the chapel with her. This book is so well-written - so thought-provoking - I am ready to start reading it all over again!" on 20:25:28 09/16/07 Sun
