Subject: My thoughts - it's a collector's item. If I were so inclined *G* I'd certainly buy it to have as a keepsake. Doesn't mean you can't buy a copy of the book. I used to collect stuff like this, but .... I came to the conclusion I'm not a pack rat and need to get RID of stuff. But, really, if I wanted that ARC I'd bid on it. I don't think it's disrespectful. Someone got that copy to read and obviously is going to probably cash in, but ... oh well, I'd still buy it if I wanted it. :D It would be cherished memorabilia to me.

  • Colleen bought a arc copy on Ebay and its going to Surrey in October to be signed. *G* I really dont think Diana has a problem with it, its no different than her other copies being sold on ebay. An arc is a bit more special in my opinion. (NT) -- M&M, 12:39:20 09/09/07 Sun
