Subject: Don't you think Geneva would have told her mother about what happened and how it came about when her mother was staying with her prior to William's birth? It must have been obvious to Lady Dunsany that the Earl wasn't happy about the baby and something was definitely up. I've always felt that Geneva's Mom knew for sure about Jamie (but wasn't telling anyone any specifics except maybe Dunsany himself he was awfully upset about allowing Geneva so much freedom with her groom after all) She might have mentioned letters going back and forth between Jamie and his family to her husband and Dunsany might have mentioned them to John.
