Subject: I don't know, really. Reading the second time, I made sure to pay careful attention. I think most people in their lives chalked it all up to equal amounts of stubborness. Knowing what Grey knew- that his father was murdered, it makes perfect sense that he would not accept his father's name as stained...oh going long-->

But if he really assumed, as he states, that Hal must have known it was murder (that their mother had spoken to Hal of it), wouldn't he feel some anger or resentment towards Hal for accepting the insinuations that his father had killed himself, thereby in some way, admitting to the world that there was shame to be acknowleged? Does this make sense?
