Subject: Yes! This is another layer to add to John's anguish in the stable scene. He cannot love Percy *enough* (something) while his heart is not wholely his, but belongs to Jaime. For Jaime to question his ability to love another man, when it is Johns love for Jaime that is preventing him from entering fully into a relationship with Percy, and all of the consequences of that...poor John! I understand why he would wish not to love Jaime- unrequitted as it is would be one thing, but his life will never be complete with another.
In reply to: teddie 's message, "I was a little surprised when John admits to himself that he wished that he never laid eyes on Jamie, although it is completely understandable, given the circumstances. Jamie is in his heart forever, and yes, his honesty does prevent him from loving another with his whole heart." on 06:13:40 09/07/07 Fri
