I do think that it was very nice of her to take the time to write what she did for her fans. It delved more into their minds and hearts. It was a treat to read and thoughtful, indeed! - Thanks, but actually I didn't ask a question. I just made a comment and she was inquiring about what I thought was shocking. I do have to say, her explanation and the novel itself as opened all sorts of doors to wonderful conversations. For instance...John was insulted because Jamie refered to pedophila. However, Jamie asked him if his step-brother was a catamite and John answered "Yes, he was my lover". Well, I had to look up what a catamite was and it is a man-boy sexual relationship.
