Subject: Yikes! Bright Red!!!

I have Light Brown hair (colored) and decided I wanted to be a red-head. I chose a Garnier productwith a light red on the box and dumb me, didn't want to be patient and do a strand test. My hair is like Clown red. My husband thinks this is funny. I do not. Should I get a box of Brown coloring? I can't go to a stylist to get this fixed anytime soon I have babies at home (twins) so can't leave the house easily and we are on a tight budget. So hoping to rely on home remedies or another packaged color. ugh! I could kick myself!!
