However, the only reason we splurged was because it was a wedding present to ourselves (in addition to a dog) since nobody actually came to our wedding. The good news is that while the dog and console cost about the same, the 360 doesn't eat bark or pee on the carpet (to our great relief). Aside from a few minor hiccups, it has proven to be well worth the money. Not that I'm trying to deter you from your school work (as I should currently be reading Pride and Prejudice for British Lit and not playing around on the computer).
