Another tear ran down her cold cheek... The warmth was welcome and almost distracted her from her grief. Almost. Soon the blustering cold attacked the trail of moisture and the warmth of the tear seemed like a distant memory. The hurt inside seemed to dominate her so much that she couldn't imagine there being anything inside her other than misery. That was what she had become. That was why she existed. Misery incarnate. A brief panic swept over her as she mused what would be left of her once the misery itself died away...
