See, not that's the big downside of living in california. There's this thing I grew up with out in colorado, and I sort of miss it. It's called "weather". I swear we're down to about two seasons here. Summer and Rainy Week.

As for the junebugs, they don't bother me that much. When I was in high school, my parents had a pool, and they proved themselves to be the biggest hassle then, as you'd surface into a patch of dead ones and have to claw that off of you.

At least they don't bite, stink, eat stuff or anything else. They're basically just a nuisance. I was hanging out with a cow-orker last night, and his wife flipped when she saw her first june bug (they're from Jersey). Me, I was batting the thing around their patio.
