Like every 30 minutes. But he's impossible to keep track of. He's been locked into the pantry on more than one occasion (by accident, of course). We'll find little puddles of pee in random places without knowing how long it's been sitting there. Luckily our house came with this amazing carpet that doesn't immediately soak up liquids. The liquid (in this case, Dexter's urine) kind of lingers on the top for a while before seeping in.
