Well, see... I call him my lawyer. He has done legal work for me before and I went to school with him. If I need legal advice, he knows I'll ask him. If I ever need representation I'm certain it would amuse the hell out of him and we'd write a song about it.

Yey with the drums!! Do it! You really should. Although bass is easier and cheaper by far. Many failed guitarists take up the fat strings. I once attempted the cheese wire board but humbly accepted that I was poo at it. The bass is the way forward, but if you're awesome at drums, you will have your pick of bands! Also, you could get an electronic kit with midi's and hook it up to a PC to make excellent electronica with minimal PC noise abilities. Yum Yum.
