I never knew that Whisky from Scotland is spelled without an "e". I also learned about Old Town vs. New Town, and about that underground close that's haunted by a little girl. I think they said her name was Annie??? Oh, and what's with the fancy hotel with the part old church-like facade/part glass, glass, and more glass? That scared me. I am quite eager to visit now, but I must ask, was the host correct in saying that August is a swell time to go because of all the festivals?
