Of course, its not the Dickin medal but it is numbered and unfortunately without the accompanying ribbon. I shall get the details (the number etc) when I next see her. My connection to the Amethyst is that my father served on her, joining her after her refit following her return from China. He went back out to the far east with her and saw action in Korea. If you're interested I'll contact you again when I've got more details of the medal.
