Kimmi, my guess is that introverts and extroverts by their own past experiences have "PROVEN" that a particular kind of behavior WORKS FOR THEM, given the specific kind of past environmental conditions encountered since they were babies. But what worked in the past may not at all work in different conditions.
..... Compare with traditions and customs in many countries that are being practised there, yet that do no longer WORK/apply in the 21st century.
..... Often those who are "different" are persecuted by the majority, even if their religion/belief system requires them to be "nice" to their neighbors.
