Titled: " What to look forward to "
Subject: REGINE VELASQUEZ- UPDATES/INSIDE BUZZ!!
With so much being said and done these days, I thought
it was about time to update everyone on what's in
store for us all the coming few months. I've been
thinking about how I should relay the info to everyone
(month to month basis? or by project?) and as I write
this I still haven't decided what's the best way so as
the saying goes... bahala na si batman. I am going to
try to be as specific as I can, as concise as I can
and hopefully get the information accross without
confusing anyone.
PPS (Pinoy Pop Superstar): Taping is every other
Mondays from 1pm til about 10pm at studio 3 of GMA.
It is aired every Saturday. The Grand finals is
scheduled for March or April next year.
SOAP OPERA: Regine has been taping since July. 2 to
3 times a week, minimum of 12 hours a day, sometimes
more, depending on the difficulty of the scenes. At
first, the WORKING TITLE was "Tears in Heaven" and was
changed to"Forevermore". AGAIN, THIS IS JUST THE
WORKING TITLE. Since the FINAL TITLE has not been
announced yet formally, I am not at liberty as of the
moment to reveal it. As you have heard Regine herself
promote lately, the song "FOREVERMORE" is the theme
song. Her co-stars in this soap are Richard Gomez and
Ariel Rivera with a great supporting cast. AIRING
DATE: Monday, September 20, 2004.
ALBUM: Yes, FOREVERMORE is the carrier single of the
album. Once again, it is an ALL-OPM REVIVALS album.
Time permitting, she has been recording; sometimes 1
song, sometimes as much as 3. She even does the back
up vocals herself. She personally chose all the songs
in the album and personally chose the arrangers, so
hopefully, you will all enjoy it. ALBUM LAUNCHING:
October, 2004.
COFFEE TABLE BOOK: Now here's something I'm not sure
if any of you are aware of. It has been in the works
for quite a while now (over a year) and was actually
shelved for a while. Anyway, it's a coffee table book
with never before seen pictures of Regine herself
taken by master photographer Jun de Leon. Truely a
collector's item! BOOK LAUNCHING: November, 2004.
MAJOR CONCERT: REIGNING...STILL. Conceptualized and
directed by Regine. Produced by Aria Productions in
cooperation with GMA7. Pre-production has started.
The title of the concert itself should give you a clue
what it will be like and what it's gonna be about.
Tickets are already on sale through Ticketnet (all
Shoemart branches and Araneta Coliseum).
OTHER STUFF:
1. She will be having concerts in Bulacan (Sept 4),
Lucena (Oct 23), Sta. Cruz Laguna (Oct 30) and Dagupan
(Nov. 27)
2. Fans Club Membership: Many have writted asking
why they haven't received their membership ID. Don't
worry... there has just been a delay in the
manufacture of the ID. As long as you see your name
acknowledged by Cez, that means we received your
application. Hopefully, ID's will be mailed in time
for the major concert.
3. Many of you have also been talking about a
possible VCD or DVD of the concert. As I have
previously mentioned, it takes a huge amount of money
to produce a VCD. Royalties have to be paid, talent
fees have to be paid, negotiations have to be done
with each and every composer/lyricist/recording
company. I don't want to burst anyone's bubble but I
don't want to get your hopes up either. Negotiations
have begun. Let's just all hope for the best.
