Subject: The Show Had Serious Flaws

"Life With Bonnie" had the wonderful Bonnie Hunt, but the show surrounded her with half developed and annoying characters who took the focus off the program's one asset, Bonnie Hunt.
The program relied on the stale idea of a domestic sitcom, combined with a flat work life involving the Chicago morning talk show. Bonnie was forced to play straight man in deference to this galaxy of dull co-stars. Bonnie's home life involved the required cutesy, unnerving and precocious kids. Her loving and dedicated husband offered no interesting conterpoint or conflict, and one episode differed not at all from any other. The show's demise was inevitable. If you could have a half an hour of Bonnie as a talk show guest, that would be worth watching.
