Dear Bill: I am working everyday with an Iraqi man, who has just been in the U.S. since Thanksgiving. He is a catholic. I am trying to convince him to go to Nashville to register, and then return to vote next week. He says I do not understand. That a Christian in Iraq is like an ant living amongst elephants. Am I correct that this election is to elect a council to write the constitution. If so, are their any christians running for representation on this council. He feels there is no point. I reminded him of our document written 250 years ago, and that only in the last 100 years have women and blacks given the right to vote. Would you please do some homework on the outlook of the christian in Iraq, and make us more aware of their plight. I think they are leaving Iraq as quickly as possible, believing they have no future in their homeland. Thanks for listening, and I will keep watching. P.S.
