Nora and Kuh powers up New Jersey

Nora Aunor and Kuh Ledesma has a scheduled meet and greet at Perlas ng Silangan in Woodside, New York yesterday at 6:30 pm. I was pretty excited to go and have dinner with the power of two but due to last minute schedule conflicts on my side, I found out that I would not be able to meet, greet and dine with these two ladies and that I would have to sit this one out.

Did you know that miracles always happen in the last minute? At 6:30 pm, my celly beep-beeped. It's Jason B. callin me and I was like, what-the-deal with this dude calling me. I have not heard from this dude for a while and now he is like... holla! I though he was gonna order some Power of Two tickets or somethin yo.

So I was like, "What the deal dude?" And he was like, "Come to the station tonight dude. Nora and Kuh gonna be here." And I was like, "Yo, my babymother at work. I gots to sit cuz I got no sitterz tonight." And he was like, "So bring them." And so I did.

For those of you who do not know Jason B. - Jason Baquilod is the host of Pinoy Rock at WRMN Radio Pinoy (http://www.pinoyradio.net). Here in the East Coast, Jason B. is your source for Pinoy Rock Culture.

At the Radio Station located at 554 Bloomfield Avenue in Bloomfield with my two toddlers, I met Lino Celle for the first time. Also with us were Emmanuel Agbanlog (Publisher of Filino Times and Asian Review) and Robert Perez De Tagle (up and coming events promoter).

Nora Aunor and Kuh Ledesma came with their concert promoter, no other than Mila Mendez of Special Edition and Philippine Fiesta. They chilled out a little bit at the station. Then they were interviewed by none other than Lino Celle himself.

After the interview... what else? KODAK! Photo shoot with the two celebrities. People pulling and pushing and catfighting... nah! It was none like that. It was busy tho. With all the crazy things going on, Nora Aunor slipped my fingers. I was not able to get a picture with her. There is always next time. Check out POB's photo album to view all the pictures I took.
