It is great to hear from you. Hey, I can't give any guarantees on the Rouge River, but here goes. Spring, the river is pretty high, but you have a chance of scraping, so probably no fiberglass. No long jams but a couple of portages for dams. I take a 17'er down it all the time, only about 25 yards of class III (maybe). Broken Childsdale dam from many years ago. There is one area with quite a few rocks, but with plastic or similar, you just get war wounds. I hope that helps.
