Hello All,

Just came across your site and am highly impressed!

I thoroughly enjoy hunting and fishing but have recently gotten the urge to take my outdoor appreciation to a new level (and escape the crowds) via backpacking.
My wife says she is out yet this year with the new baby so I have no partner to head off with (none of my friends or family seem to think highly of leaving a warm cabin).
So this group would seem an answer to my prayer.

I look forward to learning more about the group.
