With a spray skirted canoe, can you roll it? Is it as capable on the water as a kayak. Can you high brace? You certainly can't low brace? Can a canoe cut through the waves like a yak? Could you take the 6 footers we took in the Manitou Straits on the beam with a canoe? No matter what, I think a kayak is definitely more sea worth than a Canoe. Just my thoughts.
