about this piece, writing-wise... it has a staccato rhythm to the dialogue in the beginning, then smooths out a bit, but that rhythm pervades the piece. It's compact and true to the characters' sense of sarcastic humor (if you can call it that) about Section One and their situation.

Beyond that, it's just nice that each section is so encapsulated and conveys so much emotion in just a few paragraphs.
