Thanks everyone for your good wishes and suggestions.

The wedding was simply magic ... so beautiful and serene and I’m sure it was everything and more to the bride and groom. Thirty five people came from Oz and England and spent the time at the Merlin Beach Resort which was heaven on a stick too. The weather was perfect ... hot and humid despite having rained the 2 weeks before we all arrived. Suffice to say we had a great time relaxing, sightseeing and shopping. Went snorkelling, swimming, had a pedicure and manicure plus a foot massage on the day of the wedding, saw elephants, monkeys, Phi Phi Island and other beautiful beaches on a day tour, sat around drinking cocktails around the pool and caught up with friends. I had some clothing made and bought some jewellery. The Thai people were so gentle and friendly.

If only it could have lasted for a while longer, because on returning home to 5 degrees after coming from 36 degrees was a shock to the system. I’ve been rugged up with four layers trying to keep warm. Thankfully Spring is just around the corner here and the sun has been shinning the last couple of days which has been very nice.

Hopefully next Saturday will be a beautiful day as my elder twin niece is getting married. She looks so radiant at the moment she is bursting with happiness. Can’t wait for that wedding too.

Cheers
