I agree wholeheartedly with what Hannah said ... Chicken for an old rooster!!! LOL!!!!!

Annie ... It’s a quote from ... NOT WAS.

"I'm having Christopher prepare coq-au-vin a little later. Would you like to join me?"

"Not tonight. Thank you."

Not only that but in my youth when I was travelling through France with friends, the only thing we could get to eat at a late hour was coq-au-vin. So it has a place in my memory as well. LOL! I guess all the other dishes had been sold out!

I would also pick something else but I used this because the name of the dish was mentioned in the script. Perhaps it was the only thing that Christopher could make. From memory I think it was the first time that an actual dish was mentioned, the second being in Psychic Pilgrim when Michael says...It smells wonderful.

Nikita replies ... Just some brioche.

P.S.

The other night on Moonlight #5 Beth was looking for something for her boyfriend Josh to cook for their one year anniversary ... Guess what recipe was on her computer? ... Yep ... Coq-Au-Vin. Just goes to show that relationship was not meant to be! LOL!

Perhaps it’s a male thing ... the name of the dish must appeal or they really must like chicken in wine!
