well firstly happy chinese new year
hopefully you will get lots of hong pao
and eat a lot of food
this whole v day thing is it really such a big deal
if you really think about it is a marketing ploy and nothing more plus there is neither historical nor cultural context at all so pple don't brood over it
everyday is special because it will never happen again
zihao ang i talked about it before
and a good quote from a play 'life is like drama but you never play twice'
think about it
i say it is more imprtant to seize every single waking moment like a greedy boy in a candy store later on you can sit with your friends over a drink and savour the bitter sweet of life
but not the dampen the spirit of those with boyfriends or girlfriends go out have a ball spend lots of money make sure you enjoy every single moment of it and not think of those pple ripping you of for it is after all valentine day and feb 14th happens only once a year
