Probably it's bcoz yahoo/geocities do not support cross server hosting. When crossed linked by other servers, it slows down the parent server. Hence, when the picture is hosted in geocities server, it restricts the picture to be view only thru geocities domain.

Hmm have been quite sometime since i last came here. Today while I was cleaning up my room I aw the birthday shoe box u guys had given me some years back. Yesh i still kept it... no throw no throw. Hmm kinda miss the class after seeing it. Hope to see you guys real soon.
