It's good to see that you're back and you've found us again. And it's amazing to hear that your daughter is 12!!! Wow! Big hugs to the fur kids from me. :)

Let's see. We lost Vinnie a year and a half ago in May to a Grand Mal siezure that we are 99% sure was due to a brain tumor that no one had known about. Serious shock to both Gary and me and it took a looonnnngggg time for me to stop looking for him in the mornings and when I got home from work, but it took Gary even longer. He and I are lavishing serious attention on both Dot and Bruno, though and you can tell how spoiled they are.

Dot is a happy-go-lucky 6 year old. Into everything, and as sassy as ever, but a love-bug as long as she's the center of attention. (everyone say it with me: "It's all about Dot!" LOL!).

Bruno isn't doing so hot. We thought it might be arthritis - and it still might be - but the Dasuquin isn't doing what we had hoped. I'll probably drag his lazy butt back into the vet's in another week and have another look-see. His back legs simply aren't functioning very well - you can tell it hurts him when he gets up. But after about 5 minutes of moving around, they seem fine again (unlike Gary Y's Zach-boy....). Once he's up and moving, he steals Dot's toys and throws them around and bounces around again, though, so he's still full of it.

We moved to Cedar Rapids nearly a year ago to be closer to my employer and Gary is now working at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Life is pretty good, if a bit hectic. I'm working full-time and going to school over-time to get done with my MBA in 18 months - nearly there! I graduate in May next year. Woohoo - 4 more big classes!!!

Stick around! I lurk, though I don't post as often as I maybe should....

- Bekah
