Glad you found your way back! OK, the past three years..... uh, well, was I in CA or CO when you were last here? I don't recall, so just in case, we moved back to CO just before New Year's, 2005. In March of 2005, Kallyn's horse had to be put down on her 10th birthday, while we were on vacation. (Due to negligent pet sitter).

In August of 2005, Tom got a new job and was commuting 77 miles each way. Then, we started attending a training class through the county to explore adopting a child from the foster case system. In December my heart was broken when I lost Zephyr to lymphoma. One week later a five boy and six girl moved into our home. In May of 2006, we moved closer to Tom's work. In August of 2006, we had to make a difficult decision (very long, painful story) and let the foster kids go to another home. In Oct., we were contacted and asked if we would consider bringing the little girl without her brother, back into our home (most of our issues were with the boy). In Dec., during the first blizzard, we drove 1 1/2 to pick her up and bring her back. (took about seven hours to get back home with most roads closed!) During the 1st week in January 2007, Tom lost his job, which was actually a blessing, although terrifying! In March, Tom moved and started a new job in Philadelphia, PA. The night before the kids and I made a trip to Philly to house-hunt, Chester got really sick and while at the vet, went into cardiac arrest during which time I asked the vet to help him on his journey to the bridge. In June 21st of this year, we adopted our foster daughter, she chose the name of Kaycee, who just turned eight on June 29th.

Now for the kicker -- the first part of August, we picked-up and moved (yes, the horses too) to Pennsylvania. (I won't even get into what all happened when we were trying to buy a home here -- oh boy!)

OK, now I need a nap after reliving all of this! Oh wait, and on March 19th of this year, we brought home a new baby! Wait..... a boxer baby flown in from Alaska (Cindy)! His name is Ruger. Oh, also forgot that last summer, we brought home a new little rescue girl, a terrier/doxi mix named Jinni, who is Kallyn's baby. OK, I think that's it!

Since moving, we have been busy making this a "horsey" place as it had just a house when we moved in! We are busy bees, but everyone is enjoying the new place, making new friends and getting involved in activities. Furkids are all doing well. Elsa is holding her own at 12+ years.

Lynne, I haven't chatted with Tracy lately, but hope to shortly. When I speak with her, I will post an update.
