In reply to: Trisha 's message, ""Pirates of the Carribbean" Movie" on 11:30:02 12/22/02 Sun

Hi everyone!

In my haste in typing, I accidentally misspelled "Caribbean". Sorry about that, lol. Anyway, here is the link to the movie site if you would like to take a look.

Arr, ahoy there, matey, and thanks for good tidings!

Actually, I knew about the movie, but I've been remiss in mentioning it. I didn't realize it had a trailer already. It looks really cool. Now I can't wait to see the "Two Towers," just for the previews! I bet Geoffrey Rush will be a great pirate captain. (He played another RN role a couple of years ago--Javert in the Liam Neeson version of "Les Misérables.") And, of course, the Pirates of the Caribbean ride has always been my favorite. But then, I remember getting my hopes up when I first saw the trailer and read the book for "The Island," which turned out to be a total disappointment, in spite of an awesome cast, so I'm trying not to expect too much from this one. It sure has potential though, and I'm sure Disney will do a great job.

Arr, happy holidays to 'e, mateys!

I have a friend of mine whose ex-husband told her 2 young kids that Orlando Bloom had died, I know that this is not true, is the fact that some young kid tried to do a stunt on the movie and had died in trying to attempt the stunt, I have told her that this was the case, but she wants proof. Any info would help very much.
Sincerly,

Hi Gary!

I highly doubt this is true at all. If I'm not mistaken, Orlando is currently working on his next project, "Troy."

Your friend,
~Trisha~ :)
