I actually posted this message about a week ago and it seems that it disappeared. So if you have seen it before, please bear with me. I wanted to know if Susan C., or anyone else, knows if the remaining eposides of the Long John Silver TV series will be released in the near future.

Hi, Susan. I deleted some spam messages and some off-topic posts a few days ago; I hope I didn't delete your message (or anything else I shouldn't have) by accident. I just had to get rid of that mention of the TCM request form under the Hatter's Castle topic--too many people were posting their requests *here* instead--and none of them had anything to do with RN. Since people weren't getting the message that this was the wrong place, I just deleted the subtopic altogether. BTW, I went to the Turner Classic Movies site and requested that they show a Robert Newton movie (or two or three or four ...) in honor of his 100th birthday this June 1. So I encourage everyone else to do the same--on the TCM site, that is--NOT HERE! :-) Go to www.turnerclassicmovies.com under "Suggest a movie." There may be strength in numbers!

Anyway, to answer your question, I wish the remaining episodes would be released. From what I've been able to gather, the copyright must have lapsed on the 14 episodes that are currently available, which is why so many different companies have released them. Apparently, whoever owns the copyright to the other 10 is holding onto them. (On the other hand, I hope the episodes weren't lost or destroyed!)
