Subject: Feelings about Barbershop Singing

I have been singing barbershop polecats since I started singing in high school as a lead. I just want to see if anyone has any feelings about the barbershop world of harmony. Or if you was interested in seeing it around heidelberg.

Kevin, I think that is a wonderful idea!!! I have been asking for some chamber vocal group on campus with a small number. I think it would be a nice opportunity for vocal majors to sing in styles that they would ordinarily not sing in. I think that a small ensemble could sing jazz repertoire and possible team up with the jazz band, they could also sing motets or madrigals, and even sing in the barbershop style. If you can get some more support rallied behind you then this could become a reality. Good luck and let me know how it works out or what I can do to help.
