Personally, I plan on working with choirs for the rest of my life. As long as I am passionate about my music and capable of expressing that to my students, I plan on teaching.

I agree with both of the earlier posts. Teach until you are too unhealthy to, have no desire to, or cannot teach effectively. If you want to keep teaching, thats just one more reason to stay healthy.

Oh Yeah! I definitely agree. I mean how could someone give up what they really love doing. I personally know I am going to love teaching. I cannot wait to have my own choir and to pass my musical knowledge onto others. I honestly cannot imagine giving that up unless I had to because of health reasons and/or death. I am not kidding I plan on working in this field until I am incapable of working.
