The graffiti was removed a.m monday 24/10/05. Now that the trees have been removed ,the culprits see this as an ideal location to spray graffiti ,it has easy access, and they can stand on the wall to do their damage. my colleague pcso dave moore will be attending the community meeting on wednesday 26/10/05.

We are going to suggest to the co owners of the car park that an anti climb fence is needed to run across the length of the wall at the rear of the coop this will prevent anyone reaching the wall. The co-owners have to remember that this car park is used by many locals and visitors. Surely they dont want people to see large amounts of graffiti on the wall, as they drive into the car park. This will only give them the totally wrong impression of a village like Killay and could possibly put them off visiting again.

If preventative measures are not taken, the vandals will see this wall as a sketch pad and will keep returning .We will monitor the area closely from now on but we cannot be here all the time. This is why it is very important that proper measures are taken to make as difficult as possible for the culprits to gain access to this location and cause even more damage.

If anyone has any information regarding who is responsible for this graffiti problem please let the police know. we will carry out our own enquiries as to finding the culprits responsible.
