Subject: Vanessa supposedly didn't sign long-term contract

I read on the internet that Vanessa didn't sign the typical 5 year contract that most actors sign when they do a pilot. She has only signed for one year for Ugly Betty. She is supposedly getting $750,000 for each episode. She will be billed as "Special Guest Star"
