...your words really mean a lot to me! Sorry I'm so late in my reply; I posted one a few days ago but it seems to have disappeared. ;-)
This poem was one of those that formed itself in my mind just as I was falling asleep one night, but I didn't write it down until several days afterward. I guess you could say it did come from me 'whole' because although I sat with the ideas for some time, it required no revision once written.

I hope baby Samson's Christmas was magical. The holiday season seems more special when you're enjoying it with kids, somehow...
