What colourful gems of prophecy, Sacred and profound, Have been Silenced on lips forever dumb? Shakespeare drives Ophelia to madness While Milton pens a seductive Eve And Donne's aubades to lovely lovers Become sonnets to the God of men. The ink eternally dry, The book eternally closed.
