Well... we got the phone call yesterday. Even with a miracle, it seems that Nanny just isn't going to make it home from the hospital. The doctors have told us that her liver and her kidneys have just sustained too much damage for any type of recovery to be possible. She is still very alert and responsive to us, and that is making it all the harder. We are thankful ofcourse, but the pain is still very real. Mom is okay. She believes that she is super strong; however, please keep her in your prayers... I know she's strong, but she's absolutely exhausted too. From the bottom of my heart, I wish each and every one of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Please be careful in your travels, and enjoy the time that you have with your families... it is precious. I'm going to enjoy mine with my Nanny this evening.
