Date Posted: 18:59:53 11/19/04 Fri Well... this time the news isn't too good. Nanny is still on the ventilator, and now has pneumonia. Her kidneys aren't functioning properly; therefore, she is now taking dialysis. Her liver count is too high, and her heart is becoming more and more weak. She doesn't really respond to us anymore, but we still have hope. She's a fighter, and we aren't ready to let her go! Mom is absolutely exhausted. I don't think she even realizes how worn down she is. Please keep Nanny and Mom in your prayers. Thanks to Ashley and Jennifer for covering Mom's classes on Thursday so she could be with her mom. Love to all! |

Date Posted: 16:10:47 11/14/04 Sun Hello everyone! Well, staying true to her nature, Nanny is being stubborn! Ha Ha! We are beginning week number 2 in Winston. Nanny is doing great; however, her lungs just won't do the work that the doctors need them to... so, she is still on the ventilator. We are hoping that she will get to come off of it tomorrow! I would like to thank all of you, on behalf of myself and all of my family, for your prayers and kind words. We believe in the power of prayer... so KEEP ON PRAYIN'!!!!!!!! Love to all of you! |

Date Posted: 09:11:09 11/09/04 Tue Hey everybody! Just wanted to update all of you about my Nanny... well, things haven't gone as well as we had hoped. Her anerism surgery was a success. She was in surgery for about 6 hours. Unfortunately, near the end of the surgery, her heart began to fail. She is in the Intenstive Care Unit at WFU Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, and she could really use all of your prayers. The doctors have told us that she very unstable right now, and it is still a "touch & go" situation. They don't know what is wrong with her heart... they aren't sure if she suffered a heart attck or not. Mom is doing fine... she's just very tired. We are blessed to have a big, strong and loving family... so we are all doing well. We are going to try our very best to keep the studio open during this scary time; however, please bear with us if everything isn't "just perfect" for a few weeks. Ashley, Jennifer, Lacey, Jessica and Jordan are doing a great job for us, and we are so very thankful for them. If anyone needs me, then please call me at 828-234-6544. I'll call you back as soon as I can. I'll keep everyone updated by using this message board. Love to everyone! |

Date Posted: 18:54:36 10/31/04 Sun Anyone that was planning on attending the Star Systems Workshop in Atlanta this weekend needs to be aware that I will NOT able to go as planned. If YOU still want to go, then see me some time this week, and I'll give you all of the information and paperwork that you will need to register. My grandmother, Margaret, will be leaving for Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem this Wednesday for surgery. She has an "aortic anerism" in her abdomen. The doctors have told us that she will be there for at least one week... so Mom and I will be doing a lot of traveling for the next little while. Our plans are for the studio to remain on it's normal schedule, but please keep in mind that we may need to do some re-scheduling if a situation warrants us being in Winston for an extended amount of time. Please keep us in your prayers! I'll keep everyone updated on this message board. Thanks and love ya! |

Date Posted: 13:30:20 10/29/04 Fri Breeann is going to be taking some time off from teaching at the studio. She has a lot going on in her life right now, and school is getting really tough. Ofcourse... this is still her home away from home, and she will be in and out all of the time. Right now, she is getting ready for the "Miss Hickory" pageant in December, and she is very excited. This message board is a great way to keep in touch with her, and send her some "good luck" wishes for the pageant! Amy will be taking over her private lessons; as well as, her classes for now. Alley being the Mini and Breezy being the GRAND!!! WOOO HOOO!!! We have his wardrobe picked out, his "hair" is ready (he's still iffy on the makeup)his falsies prepared. He is still workig on his talent. Allison agreed to let him use "Rock a Hula Baby" for this night only(although she said if he plans on doing anymore pageants, he has to pay Ms Ann and get him a talent of his own)But he still has the first time pageant gitters, lol, I know some of you can relate. He needs as big of a cheering section as we can get him. Not only do you get to see him in a dress (OMG is it funny!!, humm I mean Pretty)but it's for a local schools fundraiser for their Spring Fling that they put on for the community. YOU ALSO SAID IF WE HAD ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS FOR OTHER PLACES TO HOLD THE RECITAL TO LET YOU KNOW. I THOUGHT OF TWO PLACES. I DONT KNOW THE COST OF EITHER ONE BUT I AM SURE THAT IT WOULD HOLD US. ONE OF THEM IS THE OLD ROCK SCHOOL AND THE OTHER ONE IS THE ONE UP IN LENIOR THERE ON 321 GOING TOWARD LENOIR ( IS IT A COMMUNITY THEATRE OR SOMETHING) I CANT REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT BUT MAYBE IT WOULD WORK.
