Her name is Genesis and she was 8 months old on Sunday. She came home on Saturday and she stole our hearts from the moment we laid eyes on her. She is absolutely adorable. Ann, It won't be long until it's time for her to dance. I hope that you all will get to see her soon. We're trying to get Jen to do Catawba Cty!! Love everyone's pics on the web site! |

Date Posted: 17:58:05 12/07/04 Tue Well... it's over. We lost Nanny this morning. It was a very peaceful and calm environment, and we could not have asked for anything more. Thank you to everyone that has already called us; as well as, brought food to us and our family. I am truly sorry to anyone that hasn't found out by now, but please, try to remember that this is an extemely difficult time for us right now, and I just can't do everything I'm supposed to. Thank you to Jennifer, Ashley, Jessica, Jordan and Lacey for keeping the studio up and running. Thank you to Miss Betty for taking care of Abbey Grace! We will be at Bass-Smith Funeral Home on Thursday night from 7-8:30pm, and the funeral is on Friday at 2:00pm at Faith United Church of Christ in Brookford. All classes will be cancelled on Thursday! Again, I truly appreciate all of you for your love and concern... this will not be an easy holiday season for me and my family, but we are strong and we will be okay. Please keep us in your prayers. She has lots of black hair, and she looks just like Jason! She was delivered at Catawba Memorial, but Allison's liver count and magnesium levels were unstable; so, they transported everyone to Forsyth Medical in Winston. Everyone is doing well, and they should be home soon! Congratulations Jason and Allison, and welcome to the world Kendell Brenna! |

Date Posted: 08:46:44 11/25/04 Thu Well... we got the phone call yesterday. Even with a miracle, it seems that Nanny just isn't going to make it home from the hospital. The doctors have told us that her liver and her kidneys have just sustained too much damage for any type of recovery to be possible. She is still very alert and responsive to us, and that is making it all the harder. We are thankful ofcourse, but the pain is still very real. Mom is okay. She believes that she is super strong; however, please keep her in your prayers... I know she's strong, but she's absolutely exhausted too. From the bottom of my heart, I wish each and every one of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. Please be careful in your travels, and enjoy the time that you have with your families... it is precious. I'm going to enjoy mine with my Nanny this evening. |
