Sir,
A large community of Indians are all disturbed and disgruntled by the election gimmicks of our political parties, especially the BJP's 'feel-good factor.' What is wrong in amassing votes by coining phrases and spinning slogans, when in our country, securing 'vote-banks' itself is legal and legitimate? In the recent assembly polls, the Congress was termed as 'artless', following its failure to procure the Dalit and the minority vote-banks.

As we move closer to elections, we will have to witness even more eccentric, absurd and laughable modes of campaigning. The verbosity of our avaricious netas will reach its zenith. Pramod Mahajan has just given us its demo-version. There will be the look-alikes of Tendulkar, wooing voters, though the poor cricketing stud is currently out of tune. There ofcourse will be a whole bunch of representatives from the glamour world. Actors, actresses, singers and dancers will amuse voters.

Trying their silky-soft hands at impressing the youth, will be the handsome-looking bachchas of our batty-babus, who believe the 'art of politics' is in their genes. No, I am not talking about Sonia's kids. They have already been allotted the 'ji' tag by their partymen. Artists and mediamen, along with our indefatiguable netas, will all, but engage themselves in the service of the 'great Indian voter.'
After all at the end of the day, all that it demands from us is riding to the nearby polling-booth and casting our vote, to one of the bands of buffoons. So, why frown and groan? Lets make the most out of this election-mela. Lets not just 'feel-good' or for that matter 'feel-great,' but lets 'feel-terrific.' Or atleast, lets not 'feel-bad,' for each one of us know how austere and saintly is Indian Polity.
