"I've never been much for an occupation myself, even though all my teachers thought I should become a housewife. I may be wrong, but being betrothed to someone you've never met before and then having to spend the rest of your life with them? Ick, not the life for me," she said, thoroughly tired of the old customs and what not. "I guess I'm a wanderer right now . . . unsure of my place in life so I continue to search for it," the young lady added, the mysterious "quest" Darian was on sobering her with memories from the past . . . a past best forgotten.
