| Subject: How to Eat(080808) | |
Author: Minhajulhaq [ Edit | View ] |
Date Posted: 23:45:27 08/18/08 Mon Limit yourself to no more than two servings of red meat per week. Make sure that no more than a quarter of your calories comes from fat. Cook your own meals at home and avoid eating at restaurants as much as possible. Eat six to eleven servings of complex carbohydrates (fruits and whole grain breads, pasta and cereals), but avoid white flour when possible. Don't go crazy on the protein. Too much doesn't add muscle, contrary to popular belief. It just turns to fat. Boycott mayonnaise and butter (or margarine). Get them out of your refrigerator. Learn to live without them. Don't be afraid to try low or reduced fat versions of your favorite foods. You may actually like them better when you don't feel guilty eating them. Stay away from energy bars, which imply that they will transform you into a fit person. Most of them are loaded with calories. Make your own smoothies. Those made commercially usually contain fattening syrups, but your home-made smoothies (without the gunk) are very healthy. Use all the garlic, oregano, etc. that you want. Eating healthy doesn't mean you can't pack your food with flavor. Pack a sandwich made with whole-grain bread for lunch. Breads with high fibre make you feel fuller than white bread. Get at least 25 grams of fibre every day. Not only does it ward off disease, but it actually blocks the absorption of calories. Don't be fooled by "fat free" labels. Many of these foods contain a lot of sugar, which eventually turns into fat anyway. Don't fall into the "it's okay to eat chicken" trap. The Crispy Chicken and Filet o' Fish sandwiches at McDonalds each contain more than twice the fat of a McDonald's hamburger. If you need whipped cream, whip up chilled evaporated skim milk - your creation will contain only half a gram of fat per cup. Use extra water in hot cereals to reduce the amount of milk and butter you use. Use seasoned rice vinegar on salads and veggies. It tastes similar to oil and vinegar, but is is fat-free and has very few calories. Cook rice in a mixture of half water, half fruit juice to give it subtle flavor without butter and salt. visit: http://nikhar-e-arab.com/howtoeat.html |

Date Posted: 03:59:44 08/17/08 Sun One of the most common problems people have with losing weight is pitfalls like eating out. Here are a few ways you can control how much you eat:As soon as your food is served, ask for a box and put half of your meal into it, to take home. Restaurant portions are usually twice the size they should be anyway. Don't ruin a nice, low fat salad with creamy dressing. Go for the vinaigrette or oil and vinegar, and use them sparingly. Don't let yourself down by getting (or sharing) a dessert. Order some fruit or Jell-O instead, if you must have something sweet. Arrive with a healthy meal in mind and ask for it without opening your menu. This will spare you the pain of looking at an array of temptation. After each bite, put your fork down, and don't pick it up again until you've completely swallowed the last bite. visit: http://nikhar-e-arab.com/eatoutondiet.html |

The following organizations can tell you how to get your credentials assessed. The Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials Web site (www.cicic.ca) has information on academic and occupational credentials for all of Canada and lists nearly 200 professions and trades, in alphabetical order. When you click on your profession or trade, you will find a link to the address and telephone number of the professional or trade association, the addresses and telephone numbers of provincial evaluation services and regulatory agencies, and labour market information (for example, whether there is a demand for people with your particular trade or profession). You will also be able to find out whether your profession or trade is regulated. The Centre does not grant equivalencies or assess credentials. It gives advice and refers newcomers to sources of help. Everyone shares the kitchen and bathrooms. Bachelor or studio apartment: These are small apartments designed mainly for one person. They have one large room with a kitchen and a sleeping area, plus a separate bathroom. Other apartments: Most other apartments have from one to three bedrooms. All will have a separate kitchen, a living room and a bathroom. Duplex: This is a house divided into two separate apartments. It may be bought or rented. Townhouse: This is a small house joined to other houses. It may be bought or rented. Condominium: Condominium ownership means you own the unit you live in and share ownership rights for the common space of the building. Common space includes areas such as corridors, the grounds around the building, and facilities such as a swimming pool and recreation rooms. Condominium owners together control the common areas through an owners' association. The association makes decisions about using and maintaining the common space. vist: http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/housing.htm |

Throw out your mascara after three months, powder eye shadows every nine to 18 months, and cream eye shadows every six to 12 months. Sharpen your eyeliners often to keep them clean. Mascara mistakes To avoid mascara flake-off or smudging on your face, apply a thin cost of mascara to top lashes only. Then run an eyelash brush through lashes to prevent clumpy mascara build-up. Get a rosy glow Want your face to radiate a healthy glow? Try using a gel blush or cream (instead of powder) in a rosy shade of pink to create a more natural look. Gels or creams are more transparent and blend smoothly – rub it on the apples of your cheek and blend up towards the eye for a glowing complexion. Minute manicure Need a fast fix for unpolished nails? File nails into a square shape, buff them to create a bit of shine and apply a clear coat of polish. Next rub in cuticle oil around the edges of the nail and moisturize your whole hand. It takes less than 15 minutes and will give your appearance a polished look. Brow etiquette The trend in eyebrows for this season is natural looking, not sparse and skinny. Use a tinted brow definer or eyeshadow to fill in scanty brows. Fix tired feet Pamper your tired feet with a luxurious footbath. Fill a basin with warm water and add a few drops of essential oils. Next place marbles or small stones (found at your local garden centre) into the basin. Run your toes and soles of your feet over the marbles, and relax for 15 minutes. |

Author: sumbla [ Edit | View ] |
Date Posted: 17:54:21 07/16/08 Wed Social practices - not laws - govern many types of behaviour in Canada. Some traditions are well established and are politely but firmly enforced. For example: Lining up or queuing: People normally line up or queue according to the principle of "first-come, first-served." They will be angry if you push ahead in a lineup instead of waiting your turn. Not smoking in private homes: Most Canadians do not smoke. When you are in people's homes, you should always ask their permission to smoke. If they do not smoke themselves, they may ask you to go outside to smoke. Being on time: You should always arrive on time - at school, at work and for any meeting. People who are often late may be fired from their jobs or suspended from school. Many Canadians will not wait more than 10 or 15 minutes for someone who has a business meeting. For social events, people expect that you will arrive within half an hour of the stated time. Respect for the environment: Canadians respect the natural environment and expect people to avoid littering (dropping waste paper and other garbage on the street or throwing it out of your car). They expect you to hold on to your garbage until you can find a proper garbage can. Bargaining: Bargaining for a better price is not common in Canada, but there are some exceptions. For example, almost everyone bargains for a better price when buying a car or a house, or other expensive items such as furniture. People who sell things privately may also bargain. Smart shopping: Stores compete with one another to attract customers, so it is wise to check and compare prices at different stores before you buy. Note: The price marked on goods in stores does not usually include the federal and provincial sales taxes, which add from 7 percent to 15 percent to the cost of an item, depending on the province in which you buy it. visit: http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/impsocial.htm |

Date Posted: 20:40:53 06/28/08 Sat Most newcomers to Canada tend to settle in the three biggest cities - Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver. But many newcomers and many Canadians choose to live in the medium-sized cities, which they feel have as much to offer as the larger cities with a better quality of life. Among the medium-sized cities are St. John's, Halifax, Québec City, Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Kitchener, St. Catharines, Oshawa, Windsor, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria. All of the medium-sized cities have diverse, multi-ethnic populations ranging in size from approximately 150,000 to one million people, and all have the variety of public and private institutions and services found in the largest cities. Some newcomers like the idea of living in smaller cities or towns like Moncton, Fredericton, Red Deer and Kelowna or prefer to live in a rural area. Depending on your skills or professional qualifications, some regions may have better job opportunities than others. Each Web site has a list of government departments and agencies. In the bigger provinces, some government departments may have their own Web sites, with more detailed information. You may also find a directory of on-line services, a link to educational institutions, and a link to major cities and towns. Most of the Web sites also have a tourism section, where you can discover the special attractions of each province and territory. The Web site has links to information on the labour market and the housing market of communities across Canada. It also has useful s and information about moving within Canada. Francophone communities: French is the mother tongue of 6.6 million Canadians. Most Francophones live in Quebec, but almost one million live in Canada's other provinces and territories. : Research carefully the labour market trends or access to your profession in the province and city where you wish to live. : To locate the medium-sized cities on a map of Canada, go to pages 26 and 27. : Outside the larger cities, the costs of housing, higher education and services are often much lower.Visit: http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/communities.htm |

Date Posted: 03:02:32 06/28/08 Sat There are hundreds of immigrant-serving organizations in Canada. Many are staffed by former newcomers to Canada, who understand the challenges that immigrants may face. They usually have people available who speak your language and can accompany you as interpreters. Citizenship and Immigration Canada supports many of these organizations financially, helping newcomers adapt to life in Canada. Settling in will be much easier if you contact an immigrant-serving organization as soon as you arrive. The people who work for these organizations can help you find a place to live and can answer your questions about shopping, education for your children, transportation, language training and other important matters. Immigrant-serving organizations can help you: find a place to live; get your Social Insurance Number andhealth-care card; enrol your children in school; get language training; find a family doctor; find out about government and community services for newcomers; look for a job; develop a realistic budget; and get emergency food aid, if it is needed. Note: In Quebec, the Ministčre de l'Immigrationet des Communautés culturelles is organized into different regions. Each region has a local office, called a Carrefour d'intégration, which works with the immigrant-serving organizations to help newcomers adapt to life in Quebec. Most immigrant-serving organizations offer, or can provide information on, the following Government of Canada programs. LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) LINC is a federal government program for all eligible adult immigrants. It offers: free language training for adult newcomers who want or need basic English or French; language classes given by school boards, colleges and local organizations; the choice of studying part-time, full-time, evenings or weekends, depending on your needs and your schedule; and transportation and child-minding, if necessary. visit: http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/chapter3.htm |

Date Posted: 14:03:42 06/27/08 Fri To Buy or To Rent When you first arrive in Canada, you will probably be living in a temporary home. You will soon be looking for a more permanent place to live. Canada has many different types of housing and a wide range of prices. Finding the right place will take some time and effort. Your first decision will be whether to rent a house or an apartment, or to buy a house. Whether you rent or buy will depend on your personal finances and whether you already have a job in Canada. Most newcomers decide they should first rent a house or apartment. This gives them more time to save money to buy a house and to decide where they want to live. If you want to buy a house, unless you can pay the full price, you will need to get a longterm loan called a mortgage. Mortgage loans are provided by banks and other financial institutions. They decide whether the borrower has enough income, more assets than debts, and a good credit rating. Most will ask you to pay at least five percent of the cost of the house from your own money. visit: http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/buy.htm |

Date Posted: 01:53:55 06/27/08 Fri Bad breath (halitosis) is a common problem which often comes from the activity of bacteria in the mouth. Although there is no way of knowing for sure, most adults probably suffer from bad breath occasionally, with perhaps a quarter suffering on a regular basis. Bad breath is a sure-fire way to send potential suitors scrambling for the exits. Chances are, that yummy chicken you enjoyed at lunch is still hanging around in your mouth, which can cause less-than-pleasant-smelling bacteria to form, especially on your tongue. Our bad-breath weapon of choice is a tongue scraper, which some say resembles a medieval torture implement but is actually a disposable U-shaped plastic tool with tiny ridges on one side. It's very easy to use, and it will help clear away any leftover food and odor-causing bacteria that have settled on your tongue. Starting at the back of your mouth, gently drag the scraper along your tongue two or three times, rinsing it in between each pass. visit: http://nikhar-e-arab.com/badbreath.html |

Date Posted: 15:22:03 06/26/08 Thu Even if you have many years of experience, you do not automatically have the right to practise your trade or profession in Canada. In most cases, you will need to have your credentials assessed to see whether you need more training, education or Canadian work experience before being qualified to practise. You may wish to get your credentials evaluated before you leave for Canada. You will also be able to find out whether your profession or trade is regulated. visit: http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/eduassess.htm |

Date Posted: 08:50:33 06/26/08 Thu One of the most important things you need to do as soon as you arrive in Canada is to apply for a health insurance card. All members of your family, even newborn babies, must have their own card. You can get an application form from the provincial ministry of health office, any doctor's office, a hospital or a pharmacy. If necessary, the immigrant-serving organization in your area can help you fill out the form. To apply for a health card, you will need your birth certificate or Confirmation of Permanent Residence and passport. The permanent resident card may also be presented. In most provinces, you will receive coverage as soon as you apply. Health-care services covered by medicare include: examination and treatment by family doctors; many types of surgery; most treatment by specialists; hospital care; X-rays; many laboratory tests; and most immunizations. Health-care services not covered by medicare, and for which you will have to pay, include: ambulance services; prescription drugs; dental care; and glasses and contact lenses. These services are sometimes covered by workplace benefit packages. Your health insurance card is mainly for use in the province where you live. If you are visiting another province and have a medical emergency, you can use your card. However, if you move to another province, you will need to apply for a new card. As people in Canada tend to move in the spring and summer months, these are the best times to look for a home; there will be more choices available. In Ontario, British Columbia, New Brunswick and Quebec, there is a threemonth waiting period before you become eligible for medicare coverage. If you are immigrating to any of these provinces, you should get private, short-term health-care insurance for the first three months. Insurance companies are listed in the Yellow Pages of all Canadian telephone books, under "Insurance". visit: http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/healthinsurancecard.htm Optional Link URL: http://settlementincanada.50webs.com/healthinsurancecard.htm |

Date Posted: 06:27:24 06/25/08 Wed Apply hand lotion and begin to massage the palm of your hand with the thumb of your other hand. This will help to circulate the blood. Work your way over the remainder of the hand and then repeat giving equal time to the other hand. Before color is applied to nails, they must be cleaned and the easiest way to do this is with an orange stick that has been wrapped with cotton. Dip into nail polish remover and then rub over the surface of the nail. Check the nail for any creamy residue. When none remains, your nails will be ready for polishing. Time for color. Pick up a small amount of polish on your brush and paint one stroke down the center of your nail. Your brush should hold just enough color to accomplish this. Stroke the sides of the nail and you are done. The nail should be completely colored in three strokes. Allow to set for a minute or so before applying the second coat. Wait until polish is set (dry to the touch) and then apply the top coat. Don't skip this step as it not only adds life to your manicure, it will protect your nails as well. Sanitize all of your equipment with alcohol and when they are dry, store them away until the next manicure. Nail Tips: Nail polish can be stored in the fridge. If your nail polish is too thick, try thinning with a polish thinner. To prevent the cap from sticking, coat it with a little Vaseline to prevent this from happening. visit: http://nikhar-e-arab.com/nailcare.html |

Author: scc [ Edit | View ] |
Date Posted: 23:59:17 06/20/08 Fri There is no national school system in Canada. Schools and universities are run by the provinces; therefore, education varies somewhat from province to province. Most elementary and secondary schooling is public, meaning it is free and open to everyone. Depending on the individual province, primary eduation starts at pre-kindergarten and continues to the end of grade 6 or 8. This is followed by secondary education or high school. In some provinces this may be divided into junior high (grades 7 to 9) and senior high (grades 10 to 12). Normally, students must complete the required academic courses in high school in order to be admitted to university or college. The regular school year runs from late August or early September until mid- to late June. New students can usually be registered throughout the school year. Most schools are closed on national holidays. Also, all schools are closed between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day, and most are closed for a week in March for spring break. The longest school holiday occurs over the summer months of July and August. Universities and community colleges hold their regular classes from late August or early September until April, although some courses are offered from January to April and a smaller number are available over the summer months. University and community college courses are not free and the costs vary among the provinces. When you register your children at the local school or school board office, you must take with you: Canadian immigrant visa (permanent resident card); birth certificate or baptismal certificate; vaccination certificate; any previous school records. Your children's language and mathematical skills will be assessed, if necessary, and they will be placed in the program the school thinks is best for them. Education in Canada is available in English and French. Many Canadian parents, even if they do not speak French themselves, believe it is good for their children to be able to speak both English and French. Some put their children in a French immersion program, where children learn most of the regular subjects in French. Author: sumbla [ Edit | View ] |
Date Posted: 05:33:42 06/18/08 Wed Social practices - not laws - govern many types of behaviour in Canada.

Morning energy Need a boost in the mornings? Time your coffeemaker so that the aroma of coffee coincides with your alarm. Sing in the shower. Use lotions with stimulating scents such as mint. Plan at least one fun thing to do each day. Eat breakfast. Listen to a radio station that makes you laugh – laughter is one of the best energizers around! vist: http://nikhar-e-arab.com/womenhealthtips.html |

Date Posted: 06:17:56 06/13/08 Fri Most newcomers to Canada tend to settle in the three biggest cities - Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver.

What can be harder to recognize is a low-grade energy drain. In this case, you may not necessarily feel the classic signs of exhaustion -- like achy muscles or that all-over tired feeling. What you do experience is an increasing lack of get-up-and-go for many of the activities you used to love. Date Posted: 02:04:17 04/27/08 Sun Make-up timeline To ensure your eyes stay healthy and free of infection when using make-up, heed the following due-date rules. Throw out your mascara after three months, powder eye shadows every nine to 18 months, and cream eye shadows every six to 12 months. Sharpen your eyeliners often to keep them clean Mascara mistakes To avoid mascara flake-off or smudging on your face, apply a thin cost of mascara to top lashes only. Eye/lip pencil care Before sharpening your eyeliner or lip pencil, place them in the freezer for 10 minutes. They will harden slightly and not break when sharpened. Eyeliner hint Women with deep-set eyes should use liquid liner instead of regular pencil eyeliner, to prevent smudging in the crease of the lid. Liquid liner does not smudge as easily. Nail polish know-how Is your nail polish from last season too thick? Chances are the polish has begun to thicken at the bottom of the bottle. Add a bit of nail polish thinner to the bottle to get the maximum use of your nail polish. Foundation tester When picking out a concealer or foundation, always test the colour on the inside of your wrist. The skin there is the most unblemished and will give you a good idea of how it will look on your face. Extend your foundation Want to extend the life of your foundation and cut down on heavy concealer? Mix a drop of it with your natural moisturizer to create a luminescent look for your skin. Curl your lashes Before curling your eyelashes, heat the curler with a hair dryer for a few seconds. Test to make sure it is not too hot, then apply to eyelashes. The heat will lock in the curl on extra long eyelashes. Foundation secret Apply foundation to your face AFTER you have done your eye make-up. This helps you to fix any last minute smudging from mascara or eyeliner under the eyes. Lipstick trick Love matte lipstick, but feel your dry lips wreck the look? Apply a lip balm to lips before starting your make-up routine. By the time you have done your eyes and rest of the face, your lips will be moisturized and ready for the matte lipstick. Manicure tip If you have been sloppy applying nail polish, simply soak nails (when dry) in warm water for a few minutes and then rub off extra nail polish gently with a finger. visit: http://www.nikharearab.com/cosmetictips.html |

Date Posted: 14:39:12 04/26/08 Sat Self-esteem is very important for your physical, psychological, and spiritual health. Enhancing your self-esteem is another passage to personal growth and change. Life begins to take on greater beauty as we open up and appreciate ourselves. As we value and love ourselves, we gain an acceptance of others. Self-esteem is something we can change and when we do, everything in our life changes. Self-esteem is simply the value we place on ourselves. If we link it to success, money, belongings and friends then we miss the mark. Out of true self-esteem, we create results. We become healthier, happier and make a more significant contribution in life. Self esteem is the opinion you have of yourself. It is based on your attitude to the following: Your value as a person The job you do Your achievements How you think others see you Your purpose in life Your place in the world Your potential for success Your strengths and weaknesses Your social status and how you relate to others Your independence or ability to stand on your own feet What is Low Self Esteem? Low self esteem results from you having a poor self image caused by your attitude to one or more of the above. Example: you do not value the job you do highly or you feel you have no purpose in your life. for more information visit: http://www.nikharearab.com/selfesteem.html |

What can be harder to recognize is a low-grade energy drain. In this case, you may not necessarily feel the classic signs of exhaustion -- like achy muscles or that all-over tired feeling. What you do experience is an increasing lack of get-up-and-go for many of the activities you used to love. "You may also find it harder to concentrate on tasks, and, eventually, you can also find your patience grows short and your level of frustration rises, even when confronted with seemingly simple challenges," says New York University nutritionist Samantha Heller, MS, RD. If this is starting to sound familiar, take heart. Energy zappers are all around us, some obvious, some hidden. The good news: There is a way around almost all of them. Date Posted: 07:54:11 04/07/08 Mon Most newcomers to Canada tend to settle in the three biggest cities - Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver. Date Posted: 04:32:47 03/27/08 Thu There are hundreds of immigrant-serving organizations in Canada. Immigrant-serving organizations can help you: * find a place to live; * get your Social Insurance Number andhealth-care card; * enrol your children in school; * get language training; * find a family doctor; * find out about government and community services for newcomers; * look for a job; * develop a realistic budget; and * get emergency food aid, if it is needed. It offers: * free language training for adult newcomers who want or need basic English or French; * language classes given by school boards, colleges and local organizations; * the choice of studying part-time, full-time, evenings or weekends, depending on your needs and your schedule; and * transportation and child-minding, if necessary. visit: http://settlement_in_canada.sitesled.com/chapter3.htm |

Author: Nahida [ Edit | View ] |
Date Posted: 10:56:37 03/04/08 Tue Avoid any sudden strain. If you are going to have to bend in any way make sure that your back is not cold and stiff. Exercise regularly to loosen up the back and strengthen its supporting abdominal muscles. Stretching your back helps loosen it and prevent injury. If you sit for long periods, make sure your back is properly supported. Place a small roll in the arch of your lower spine (at waist height) to maintain its normal S-curve. Simply a towel, or cushion rolled up will do. When lifting, never bend down from the waist, lower and raise yourself at the knees. Keep your back straight and hold the object close to your body. If you are going to carry anything any distance that may be heavy, make sure that your way is clear. You do not want to be dodging around things when you are carrying. Balance items you carry evenly on both sides of your body and hold them close or use a knapsack. Sleep on your back if possible, with knees raised on a pillow. If you sleep on your side, a pillow between the knees is a big help. If you need a firm bed, place a board between the mattress and the box spring. Lower Back Pain Eight out of ten Americans will experience a backache at some point. Back pain is the second most common reason for doctor visits in the U.S. The causes of lower back pain are numerous. Some of the more common causes of lower back pain are: Sudden injury to the back such as may occur in an auto accident, fall, sports, or other manner. Gynecological conditions such as endometriosis, menstrual cramps, fibroid tumors, and pregnancy are sometimes the cause of lower back pain in women. Stress to the muscles, nerves, or ligaments in the lower back. Certain jobs such as those that require repetitive movements, sitting in chairs that are not ergonomically proper for your back, or standing for long periods of time often increase back stress and cause lower back pain. Arthritis, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and other bone or joint diseases often cause lower back pain. Not getting enough physical activity, being sedentary, or being overweight often stresses the lower back causing pain. Slipped discs, pinched nerves, sciatica, aging, and infections are other common causes of lower back pain. Smoking. More than 1300 physicians were followed from time of graduation (1948-1964) from John Hopkins University, some for over fifty years. The researchers found that smoking history, hypertension, and coronary artery disease (risk factors for atherosclerosis, occlusion of the arteries) are significantly associated with development of lower back pain. Because there are so many causes of lower back pain, some serious such as spinal tumors, if you experience lower back pain see your health care provider for diagnosis. If your lower back pain is sudden and severe and it is not during your provider's office hours, go immediately to your local hospital emergency room. Muscle Relaxants Once the cause of your back pain has been been properly diagnosed, there are supplements to physical therapy and good posture that can help, such as skelatal muscle relaxants like Soma, Selaxin and Flexeril. Muscle relaxants such as Soma Selaxin and Flexeril are prescription medications that are used to treat pain caused by muscle spasms like muscle injuries, spasms, sprains, and strains. Skelaxin Soma Flexeril and other muscle relaxers are recommended as a supplement to physical therapy, rest, or other treatments your doctor may recommend, and will not replace these treatments. for more information visit: http://www.nikharearab.com/backacheprevention.html |

Date Posted: 10:17:56 03/04/08 Tue Feel Good when you WantWhen you need to boost your self confidence or self esteem, find 3 things that make you feel good. These could be memories of good times, a piece of music, a holiday souvenir, or a person's face - use photos if it helps. Practise thinking about them and bringing them to mind. Developing self confidence that lasts - because of the way emotions 'attach' themselves to memories, you will quickly train yourself to feel good when you want - a great help.Beat Self ConsciousnessSelf consciousness is the No.1 enemy of self confidence. Learn how to keep your attention off yourself. You can do this easily by following these steps...If you notice you have become self-conscious, (you can usually tell because you start to feel anxious), choose something 'everyday' you can see and study it in detail. For example: examine a door, look at the different textures and shades of colour, wonder about who made it and how and so on. The important thing is that you're learning how to keep your attention off yourself. If you feel self-conscious in a social situation, it's usually because you don't have enough to do! Focus on what your purpose in the situation is. Whether you're there to: find out if you like the other people in the situation make others feel comfortable find out some information make business contacts and so on... It's easy to feel self-conscious if you have nothing to do, and much more difficult if your attention is occupied by a task.Think how comfortable you have been with others when you're all working toward a common goal. Date Posted: 09:41:43 03/04/08 Tue Use your make up blusher cleverly to slim down chubby cheeks Purchase two shades of blush, one of a deeper shade and one that's lighter. To ensure the shades go together, purchase a compact with two coordinating shades. Apply your usual foundation make-up or powder to cover any imperfections and even out your skin tone. Apply the lighter shade of blush in circular motions onto the apples of your cheeks... how do you to find your apples? Just smile! Next, following the line of your cheekbones, apply a sheer sweep of the deeper shade of blush. Blend, blend and blend. The key with this trick is to create dimension, but you do not want a very obvious demarcation between your natural cheek color and the blush (i.e. think stripes!). Sweep a small amount of the lighter shade across your nose and/or forehead as desired to add an extra "glow" to your complexion. for other details visit: http://www.nikharearab.com/slimfacemakeup.html Optional Link URL: http://www.nikharearab.com/slimfacemakeup.html Link Title: Health and Beauty Categories Place the below data on data files which have categories Health and Beauty Marketing Internet E-commerce Others Misc |

| Subject: How you prevent your back ache (d257) | |
Author: shama [ Edit | View ] |
Date Posted: 05:21:51 03/01/08 Sat Avoid any sudden strain.
